June Boot Prints: Holly Rahn

Each month, our Good Stewards receive a copy of Boot Prints, an internal company newsletter. In every issue, one employee is spotlighted. Our spotlighted employee for June is Holly Rahn! Holly is GSC's Executive Administrative Assistant and works from our headquarters office. She joined Good Steward Consulting back in 2023 and has been keeping things running smoothly ever since. Learn more about her below!

Q. What do you think makes our team culture unique?

A. There is no pride in authorship, only pride in the work we accomplish together. We all believe in the purpose behind our work. We celebrate our wins together and face challenges as a team. Success here is not just about results, but about how we achieve results together.

Q. How did you get started in the industry?

A. I came across an advertisement in the Albert Lea Tribune in 2023 and was immediately impressed by the people highlighted in the article. It sparked a realization when I thought, “I’ve seen those trucks around town—this business is clearly growing.”

That prompted me to visit the company website, where I discovered the Executive Administrative Assistant position. After reviewing the role, it was clear that it aligned perfectly with my background and qualifications. Here we are today, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how everything has worked out. It’s remarkable to think that simply picking up the paper that day was the moment that led me here.

Q. What is the last song you listened to?

A. “Maybe it was Memphis” by Pam Tillis. I love listening to 90’s Country on a road trip!

Q. Do you collect anything?

A. I have a large collection of markers and fun pens! Growing up, my mom worked at JoAnn Fabrics, so I have always been surrounded by creative tools. Now my collection feels like a little treasure trove of inspiration. Anytime I sit down to create, I get excited just picking out which ones to use next.

Q. What are you currently binge-watching or reading?

A. I enjoy watching true crime documentaries, especially ones that really dive into the details of complex cases. I recently watched “The Staircase”. I also love watching all seasons of “Shark Tank”. For books, we recently started a GSC Book Club and have been enjoying the audiobook of Project Hail Mary, which has been a fun and engaging experience to share.

Q. What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?

A. I appreciate a slow morning where there is no alarm to wake up to. I enjoy sitting with a warm cup of coffee, actually tasting it and savoring the moment, rather than rushing through it as part of a routine.

Thank you for being a part of our team, Holly.
