April Boot Prints: Mackenzie Gamage

Each month, our Good Stewards receive a copy of Boot Prints, an internal company newsletter. In every issue, one employee is spotlighted. Our spotlighted employee for March is Mackenzie Gamage! Mackenzie is a Communications Associate who works from her home in Indiana. She joined Good Steward Consulting full-time this past October, and before that, she was a Local Representative for a solar project in Indiana! Learn more about her below!

Q: What does being a Good Steward mean to you?

A: To me, being a good steward means taking responsibility for the resources, opportunities, and relationships entrusted to you, and managing them with care, integrity, and a long-term perspective. It involves making thoughtful decisions that not only benefit yourself, but most importantly, those around you. Whether that’s your project community, the GSC organization, or the environment.

Q: What is your favorite part of working at our company?

A: My favorite part of working at our company is definitely the people. Everyone has been kind, laid back, and always willing to help out. It makes coming to work every day enjoyable, and I really appreciate being part of such a supportive and friendly team.

Q: How has your role evolved over time since you’ve been here?

A: I was originally a local representative for a solar project in Southern Indiana before joining the GSC team last October as a Communications Associate.

Q: What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?

A: It. All. Works. Out.

Q: What are your goals for the next few months/years?

A: Travel more with the kids, discover new hobbies of my own, complete my MBA, and lean more into involvement with at-risk youth non-profits.

Q: What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?

A: Outlander has me in a chokehold.

Thank you for being a part of our team, Mackenzie.

Come back next month to learn about a new Good Steward!
