Each month, our Good Stewards receive a copy of Boot Prints, an internal company newsletter. In every issue, one employee is spotlighted. Our spotlighted employee for January is Sarah Vonnahme! Sarah is a Senior Communications Associate who works from her home in Iowa. Sarah joined Good Steward Consulting in April of 2023. Learn more about her below!

Q: What does being a Good Steward mean to you?
A: Being a Good Steward means taking care of everyone we work with professionalism, authenticity, and grace, whether it’s with clients, landowners, communities or team members. We are all here for the common goal and how we show up – matters.
Q: What are you most proud of in your career so far?
A: I have had quite a variety of jobs in my career that have brought me here. I’m happy to say that I’m finally doing two things I love – using my communication degree in a communication role (I’ve always been in sales!) and owning my wedding/event planning business.

Q: What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
A: Always be your authentic self – don’t try to be who others think you should be. It makes life more fun letting your personality shine.
Q: How long have you been with the company?
A: 2 years and 9 months
Q: How has your role evolved over time since you’ve been here?
A: Since starting as a Communications Associate in 2023, GSC has grown so much. I have enjoyed helping with different training pieces, streamlining processes, tasks, and training new Communication Associates to teach them how to make the most of what our role is with GSC.
Q: How did you get started in the industry?

A: Jaclyn Sifert – Always remember, she’s the nice friend!
Q: What, if anything, are you currently binge-watching? Or reading?
A: I’m not currently binge-watching anything – because whether it’s a book or a show, I will be sucked in and get nothing else done.
Thanks for being on the team, Sarah!
