Shane Glinski joined the Good Steward Consulting team in 2019 as a Public Relations Intern for the Wood County Solar Project, located in his hometown. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a B.S. in Professional Communications in December of 2020 and joined the Good Steward team full-time as a Communications Associate in January of 2021.

Since joining, Shane has quickly advanced in his career at GSC, moving to a Communications Manager in the spring of 2021, a Senior Communications Manager in the fall of 2022, and now as a Communications Portfolio Manager overseeing the Lithium Portfolio. In his tenure with GSC, Shane has directly worked on 25+ solar, wind, or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects representing over 3 GW of renewable energy across 10 states, primarily in the Midwest, southern U.S. and east coast. He has helped several development teams navigate through the rigorous state permitting processes in Wisconsin, as well as Ohio. Shane’s favorite part of the job is getting to tell the truth for the benefit of rural communities!

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, Scot, who is also his unofficial “Office Manager”. Shane also enjoys hunting, which if you’ve ever seen his office, he has several trophy whitetails hanging behind his desk!
