As we enter the home stretch of the year and with the Thanksgiving Holiday, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on everything our Good Stewards are thankful for this year. With GRACE (Grit, Resolve, Accountability, Creativity, Energetic) guiding our daily work, our Good Stewards often share their kudos and thanks with the team. The lists of gratitude were abundant, and we are overjoyed to share them with you.

“I am truly grateful for the incredible people I get to work with every day. This team embodies grit, resolve, accountability, creativity, and an energy that never fails to inspire me. It’s not just about getting the job done; it’s about the way everyone steps up, supports one another, and brings their best to every challenge. The dedication and teamwork I see here remind me every day how fortunate I am to be part of such a committed and passionate team.”
- RJ Welch, V.P. of Operations
"This year, I am thankful to be welcoming my first baby. After a successful harvest season and high school football season, my husband and I can be fully focused on preparing our home and hearts for our baby girl. I am thankful for my GSC co-workers who have been incredibly supportive as I prepare to go on leave and become a working mom, and for throwing me a sweet baby shower at GSC headquarters. I am also grateful for everything I have been able to learn and accomplish in my first year at GSC, including going on multiple recon trips to meet with landowners and see parts of rural America new to me. I am looking forward to more adventures as a Good Steward and new adventures as a mom in 2026!"
- Annalise Todd, Communications Manager

"I’m grateful for a safe harvest season across our projects. The landowners we work with are deeply passionate about their land, and each year they reap what has been sown, both in the ground and in their communities. I’m thankful to play a part in harvesting the benefits of renewable energy in rural communities."
- Mariah Lynne, President/Owner

"This year, I am grateful for many things. I am grateful for the culture at GSC and the strong connection that everyone has with each other. If needed, coworkers always step up and help out, and that is something to be very grateful for. I also purchased and moved into my first house over the last year, and I am grateful that, so far (knock on wood), everything has gone very smoothly throughout the process. I am also grateful for the friends and family who continue to support me through everything. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!"
- Blake Murphy, Communications Manager

"I’m grateful for our workplace culture because it’s more than just the environment we work in—it’s the foundation that makes each day meaningful. The support, encouragement, and genuine camaraderie I experience here remind me that success isn’t just about individual effort, but about the collective spirit we share. Whether it’s celebrating milestones together, spirit week, or simply knowing that ideas are welcomed with respect, our culture creates a sense of belonging that inspires me to do my best work."
- Holly Rahn, Executive Administrative Assistant
"This year, I am overflowing with gratitude for my journey with GSC. Coming on board full-time this spring was one of the best moves I've made, and I honestly look forward to starting work every single day. Rachel and Sarah are the absolute best to work with, consistently providing patience and guidance while also being incredible friends. I am incredibly lucky to learn from them daily. Kim is a great manager, and I truly appreciate working with her and other members of leadership, whose camaraderie daily demonstrates that team members are genuinely valued. I can't forget to mention how thankful I am for the overall camaraderie of the GSC team. We're fueled by a combination of professional conversation and hilarious memes and GIFs, where everyone shares and supports each other. It is a constant blessing. I'm equally grateful for the opportunity to work alongside and learn from the wonderful members of the [project] team!"
- Erin Rydgren, Community Engagement Associate

"This year, I'm incredibly thankful for the team that I have the absolute pleasure to work with. The Lithium Portfolio is rather unique: we are all of similar age; we have a multitude of different backgrounds, yet one mission, and we all enjoy working together at GSC. We work hard, we play hard, and we laugh hard! This team has truly made a difference in my own life, and I can't thank them enough for being Good Stewards. They bring so much passion to work every day, and they're all extremely fun to travel with - whether it's hitting up a local coffee shop, trying a new restaurant in a project area, or just sitting down for a long conversation, they make work in the office and on the road fun! Shoutout to the Lithium Portfolio for a great year - thank you for all you do."
- Shane Glinski, Communications Portfolio Manager

"I’m grateful for the opportunity to work with landowners through Good Steward Consulting. Building relationships, hearing their stories, and supporting them through each step of the project process is truly one of the most rewarding parts of my work, and I look forward to continuing those partnerships in the future."
- Courtnay Lenz, Communications Manager
"I am thankful for all of the Local Representatives in our project areas that are active in their community week after week, sponsoring events, giving donations to local non-profits, participating in community clean-ups, talking with neighbors and concerned citizens, and helping to meet the needs they see around them. As the person who gets to post and share photos of all of these activities on project Facebook pages, I'm always blown away by how much they care and how much they give back to the rural areas where they live."
- Tiffany Paino, Marketing Specialist
"This year, I am incredibly grateful for our GSC team, most specifically my manager, Tiffany. After a full year of turbulent health emergencies and complications, I have had the time to think back and reflect upon the amount of grace and assistance my team has lent to me. Between helping me keep my home clean with chores I could not do, offering words of support, and being gracious with understanding my outside stressors. Everyone has helped me continue to succeed professionally, enabling me to focus on my physical healing. Tiffany has always been willing to step up and take things off my plate when I was busy with appointments, and she continues to make sure I am not taking on more than I should. I will forever be grateful for having a team of understanding and eager-to-help Good Stewards over the course of the past year."
- Emma Thompson, Marketing Associate

"This year, I'm especially thankful to be part of a team that truly supports one another. The friendships I've built with my coworkers mean so much, and I'm grateful to work alongside people who show up for each other every day. I'm also thankful to be part of rural communities that support their farmers and understand the rural way of life."
- Mallory Ignaszewski, Communications Associate
"This year, I am thankful, of course, for the amazing team I get to work with at GSC. I am grateful to be part of such an incredible group of people. I am also thankful for the fantastic participating landowners, client teams, and community members on our projects. I’m thankful for the opportunities to help landowners prosper, as well as the communities they call home throughout rural America. I’m thankful for client teams who truly put the landowners and host communities first, and the opportunity to work together to bring these projects to life."
- Zach Hacker, Communications Manager
