Executive Assistant
Responsibilities & Duties

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced executive assistant to work alongside a busy company Principal and become an important part of a fast growing team. This person will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, help keep long-term projects on track, and handle more urgent requirements for all members of the Senior Leadership Team (President, VP Finance, VP Operations, and VP Sales/Marketing). An ideal candidate is responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, positive, and seeking a challenging role. Expert organization is a must.

POSITION SKILL SET:

  • Calendar management, accounting for day-to-day meetings, calls, and movements, both business and personal for the company

  • Principal (President) Communicating with teams and assisting with project management

  • Maintaining KPI and other reports

  • Facilitating the follow through of business development deals

  • Managing and facilitating a large volume of email replies

  • Reviewing agreements and reports

  • Coordinate client gifts, employee gifts of recognition/life events, organize company team building events, coordinate company events, and assist with event planning

  • Willingness to assist with small (seemingly unimportant) and large (extremely important) tasks with the same vigor and enthusiasm

  • Assist other members of the leadership team with day-to-day tasks, as assigned

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of Executive/Personal Assistant experience (or equivalent experience)

  • Associate degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and forward-thinking

  • Confident personality and capable of being persistent when necessary

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PPT, Word, and Excel Diplomatic and tactful

  • Extremely detail oriented and organized

  • Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to work with all team members

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to effectively communicate with all levels of internal and external contacts

  • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced team environment

  • Discrete concerning confidential or sensitive information

  • Natural editor capabilities; ability to grammatically correct work product across authors

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree: marketing, communications, and/or public relations degree preferred

  • Agricultural background; and/or direct association with the agricultural community

  • Ability to travel

  • Valid driver’s license a must

  • Background check required

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Office
